Being from Colorado I’m very proud that John Denver’s song “Rocky Mountain High” was officially adopted as our second state song in 2007. It joins “Where the Columbines Grow” as Colorado’s home state tune, but honestly more people know the new one more than the old one! I’ve always been a huge fan of John Denver’s music. I mean, how can you find more perfect songs than his to sing around the campfire?
