Each spring (typically, early April), the City of Virginia Beach holds its annual Cherry Blossom Festival at Red Wing Park. Free, and open to the public, the festival highlights the beauty of the blooms and our on-going friendship with our “sister city,” Miyazaki, Japan.
With over 150 trees in full bloom, live entertainment and various activities and contests, the festival is sure to delight people of all ages. Want to camp while visiting? A KOA and the Holiday Trav-L-Park are right up the road.
