Nor’easter 2.0!

Many of you have been to Camp Taylor before and it is always my pleasure to host the Girl Campers at my campground. I like to host events that do not require a guest to be obligated to stay with the group and encourage everyone to explore the area. With that in mind I am happy to announce I’ll be hosting another event this June
Ladies, batten down the hatches, awaken your crafty creativity and invoke your imaginations because Nor’easter 2.0 is coming and Saturday night we will dress as our favorite weather event! I’ll be serving a weather-related cocktail too.

TIME AND PLACE

The event starts on Thursday – June 11, 2020 and ends Sunday – June 14, 2020
Where: Camp Taylor Campground (85 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Columbia, NJ, 07832) 908-496-4333
Cost: $55/person plus campsite fee. A site with water and electric is normally $45/night but we will offer a $5/night discount for this girl camper event
Dinner for Thursday, Friday and Saturday will be provided as well as wood for the group fire-pit,  but if you like to bring snacks and such you are more than welcome. Free coffee, tea or hot chocolate will be available each morning.

Breakfast and lunch are on your own, so you have the full day of exploring local attractions. You may take a  trip down the Delaware River, go hiking to the Appalachian trail, horseback riding or shopping.  There is plenty to do in the area, or you may want to just stay at camp and relax.

If you are interested in a wolf watch which is on the campground, campers get a $5 discount. Packets of local attractions will be provided on arrival.
The campground is located on the Delaware Water Gap Mtn., so hiking enthusiasts may hike to Mt Tammany, Sunfish pond or the Appalachian trail directly from their campsites.
Get your thinking caps on, present yourself as a hurricane, blizzard, thunderstorm tornado, hale, rain etc.  You can even depict yourself as a weather related song and see if others can name that song. The possibilities are endless, and it will be fun to see  how everyone depicts their choice.
We will also have some games and prizes including a weather trivia treasure hunt, so don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your creativity!

IMPORTANT: Due to a limited number of spaces in the group area, I suggest your reservations be made before January when we start taking reservations from the general public. Let’s try to commandeer the entire area from sites 51-71 and fill it with girl campers! Please call now for reservations and secure your site 908-496-4333
