Located in Montauk, Camp Hero is one of my favorite places to spend the day. As a former Air Force Station until 1942, this spot is filled with historic charm.
I love being able to park my bus by the ocean side cliffs and relax while listening to the waves crash.
Camp Hero has been made into a state park and offers picnic areas, a beach, trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and fishing. If you are ever in the area be sure to stop here and check this place out for yourself. There is also plenty of parking for RV’S!
