I love to decorate Runaway RayRay (the name of my 2016 Class C motorhome) with memorabilia I pick up along the way on my travels, 50,000 miles and still going! Whether it be a Glacier Park blanket, a pair of turquoise boots from Greenville, Ohio or my framed picture of me fly fishing on the Snake River or the many places visited. I love my personal space to reminisce about all my adventures, As the Ohio Girl camper guide I am committed to learning more about what our state has to offer. I’m impressed with our state park system and love the newly released series of State Park posters. I have visited, hiked or camped at each of the featured state parks except Salt Fork State Park. You guessed it! That adventure is on the 2021 calendar!
These iconic vintage poster style images feature; serene Cowan Lake, the waterfalls of Hocking Hills, Malabar Farm’s Big House tour, the iconic Marblehead Lighthouse, the covered bridge at Mohican, and the Salt Fork State Parks Buckeye Trail. These images are captured in the gouache painting technique. Since retirement I have been experimenting with this painting method and love the results! I recently purchased this series and plan to frame and hang in my beloved Runaway RayRay!
The size of the posters is 16″ x 24″ and they come non-framed. You can order your own here.
