A visit to De Leon Springs isn’t just for kids.  We plan our visit around a meal time so we can also go to the Sugar Mill Restaurant. 

You will likely have a wait at the restaurant but that’s okay.  You can read the history of the restaurant, walk around the springs or take a short hike.  Once you are inside the restaurant you will see tables with griddles in the middle. 

When you order pancakes, they bring a pitcher of batter so you can make your own.  When we go, each person in our party gets a different topping so we can share.  Chocolate chips, strawberries, walnuts or blueberries are just a few of the toppings you can order with your pancakes.
