In South Carolina, we are fortunate to have the South Carolina Land Trust Network (SCLTN) to promote land conservation and protect our natural resources. The mission of SCLTN is to “promote land conservation and strengthen the land trust community throughout the state.  The organization proudly represents land trusts throughout the state of South Carolina by: 

• presenting a united front in support of land conservation, 
• organizing opportunities to network and collaborate, 
• providing access to resources and information; and 
• promoting land conservation through statewide marketing initiatives.”

Upcoming Events

The SCLTN has great events coming up in October that are for all ages to enjoy. Events are located across the Palmetto State making it convenient to find an event near you. If spooky nights in October delight you, try a night walk at Beidler Forest; or, for water lovers there is the Beaufort Jasper River Sweep. The Nature Conservancy South Carolina in Greenville will host an Oktoberfest event at Birds Fly South Brewery for those that want to raise a pint and support the mission of SCLTN.
