Who knew that our lovable land-locked state of Oklahoma hosts the fifth largest boat and travel show in the United States? I knew it was big, but I had no idea it was that big! 2021 is the 65th Annual Tulsa Boat, Sport, and Travel Show on February 1st – February 7th and I promise, it does not disappoint.
What To Expect and How Much to Get In
Every bit of the 354,000 sq feet in our Tulsa Expo Center (aka River Spirit Expo) at the Tulsa Fairgrounds will be covered with all things outdoors including boats, RVs, furniture, gear, equipment, accessories, and more.
Admission is $10/person, kids 12 and under free. They also have special discounts on a variety of days for First Responders, Veterans, Seniors, and Teachers. Check out the website for more information. And, parking is free. www.tulsaboatshow.com
What to do at the Boat and RV show?
So, is the RV show just for those people shopping for a new RV? No way! There are all kinds of reasons why it’s a good idea (and fun) to attend the RV show:
*There are rows and rows of vendor booths representing anything and everything you can imagine to do with the outdoors. You can shop, ask questions, and do research to your heart’s content.
*Meet other RVers and campers from all over – I always end up getting into conversations with folks who have all kinds of experience and knowledge of a variety of equipment, brands, and gear.
*There will always be campground and state park booths (ours usually includes Oklahoma, Missouri, and Arkansas) with loads of brochures and information about local attractions.
*Did I mention food? Free samples, cooking presentations, food gifts, wineries, and breweries.
*This is your chance to check out the floor plans of the different classes of RVs that you have been curious about and have never seen in person.
*Drool over all of the latest bells and whistles on those awesome Class A diesel pushers and buses—they are amazing!
*And if you ARE in the market, the dealerships run specials and have discounts just for those attending the show.
This Girl Camper will be helping out at one of the booth of one of our local dealerships, so I hope to see you there!
