A 5 state road trip was the best birthday present I could have asked for. I spent a week exploring 5 new to me states and got to see some amazing sights.
One of my favorite spots I visited was Badlands National Park in South Dakota. This park was filled with the most beautiful views and some awesome wildlife.

As we entered the park we went to the first pulled off to view the awesome rock formations and steep canyons. Pictures truly can’t capture the beauty and feeling you get when being there in real life.

Driving through the park you are surrounded by these tall pyramid like rocks. It was so awesome to see wildlife I have never seen before like bison, big horn sheep, prairie dogs, coyote, rattle snakes, and Prong horns.

This park has a bunch of facilities, visitor center, a campground and also a ton of pull offs to stop and observe the views.

I was able to capture some amazing pictures and make memories that I will keep with me for a life time.

If you are ever exploring South Dakota I highly recommend checking out Badlands National Park.
