Hot Springs/Black Hills KOA Campground Review

Dec 5, 2021 | 0 comments

Looking for campground in the eastern Black Hills?  Check out the Hot Springs/Black Hills KOA just outside of Hot Springs.  It’s the perfect spot to camp if you are coming to the annual Fall River Balloon Festival as the airport is only five minutes away.

They offer full and limited hookups, tent sites with and without electric and three different types of cabins.  Many spots are surrounded by big, old trees.  The laundry and restroom/showers are clean and nice.  The owners, Suzanne & Todd, and their staff are super friendly.

They have a nice outdoor swimming pool, a fenced off leash pet area, a rec room, a playground for the kiddos, a sand volleyball court, a basketball court, and mini golf.  You will not lack for activities at this campground.  And it’s close to all that the eastern Black Hills has to offer.  Such as The Mammoth Site, Evan Plunge, and Wind Cave National Park.  Check them out at www.koa.com/Campgrounds/Hot-Springs
