My camper is a 1968 Utopia Pan-O-Ramic. My husband and I found her on Facebook and took a crazy chance, we agreed to buy her sight unseen other than the photos the seller sent us. We drove from South Carolina to the Kentucky/Indiana border to pick her up.

We knew there was work to be done, we rebuilt from the door forward, and of course, painted the exterior. Fortunately the cushions were in almost perfect condition and the inspiration for the entire color scheme. This is “Orange Crush”. I wanted my visitors to feel like they just walked into 1968 when they entered.

I’m like most of the girl campers I know, I love junking, thrifting and yard sales. Finding the perfect accessories is part of the fun. And you don’t just find them for your camper, it’s so cool, you find yourself buying things for other girls that you know suits their camper too. Girl camping has brought me back to my girl hood (is that a word). I love the freedom and empowerment I feel. I love spending time in this sweet girl, when I can’t get out to camp, I’ll camp right in the driveway.
