Theresa “Resa” Leppert worked in health information and business management for almost 25 years. That first career included adjunct teaching at a local college, managing remote transcriptionists working around the globe, and managing the family transcription business.

After a back injury, she discovered alternative therapies including chiropractics and therapeutic massage. This led to a career change into the alternative health industry. For the last decade, she has worked as a licensed massage therapist, certified aromatherapist, and Reiki practitioner in a small town in eastern Iowa.

Her personal motto is “You can’t pour from an empty cup.” Being outdoors is her quiet place, where she recharges and refills her cup so she can take care of others.

In addition to being the Girl Camper Guide Manager, Resa is also the Girl Camper guide for Iowa and Wisconin and a frequent contributor to the Girl Camper Magazine.
