Due to the current pandemic New York has been shut down to help flatten the curve. During this time I am currently working from home and have been taking this time to do my yearly spring bus projects.

Every year I start the spring with a fresh exterior paint touch up and wheel touch up. Since my bus is now 31 years old her paint sometimes needs a little bit of love. Since I try to keep the vintage feel I like to do this myself instead of going to get a complete paint job to keep her old charm.

This year since I have the time I have decided to change out my flooring to something lighter to brighten up my space. Instead of the vinyl plank flooring I will switching over to the vinyl sheet flooring. I camp in a variety of different places so dirt and sand does get brought in and the plank flooring seems to catch and hold more sand. The Vinyl sheet flooring is definitely an easier clean up.

Along with changing out the flooring I will be updating the carpet near the driver seat / engine area to match which I am super excited about.

I love to do a big cleaning in the beginning of the year so the bus is fresh and ready for new travels. I do have a few other smalls projects I will be doing including adding some wallpaper to my kitchen and dining room, adding a few new décor items , and doing some paint touchups to the interior.

With all that has been going on, I find myself having a lot of creativity in this down time. Since travelling is not an option I will be using this time to get my space ready for when it is time to hit the road again !
