Fall Camping Spices and my yummy Spiced Coffee Recipe

Dec 8, 2021 | 0 comments

Fall is my favorite time of the year and I can’t wait to have some campfire treats! I use instant coffee sticks a lot when I camp and travel because they are easy to store and so convenient. I prefer Tasters choice and you can pick them up at any grocery store or Dollar General. You will find a very festive fall coffee recipe below that you can use your instant coffee sticks.

Another challenge I had when I first traveled in my RV were the best way to store my spices that didn’t take up a lot of space. I purchased the magnetic spice containers and placed them on my fridge, but they ended up rusting so I quickly found the very best way to store a ton of spices. I use the small ziplock freezer bags and I label them. The key is to store them in an airtight container and I put my savory spices in one and my sweet spices in another container so that they do not acquire the taste of the other spices.
I found small air tight stackable boxes. I hope that your will enjoy this tip and the Fall Spiced Coffee Recipe below.

Fall Spiced Campfire Coffee

1 stock of cinnamon
3 1/2 cups of water
1/4 sugar or sugar substitute to your taste
Bring your water to a boil and add all ingredients. Cover and let steep for five to eight minutes. Strain your spices and add your sugar. This is wonderful cooked over the open fire! Pour in your favorite mugs and serve. Makes Five Servings. Enjoy!
