We are thrilled to have a ZOOZ Urban Ultralight 750 electric cruiser bike as our January giveaway! This $2,600 e-bike is amazingly comfortable, with a classic BMX-style frame that might just remind you of bikes from your childhood.
The Texas-based Zooz Bikes company has designed this e-bike with urban riders in mind and offers a ton of great, practical features. It’s made of 4130 Chromoly steel, which is strong, but lightweight, and the bikes weighs in at 55 pounds. The motor style bike seat houses most of its electronics underneath and can seat two riders (max. load of 230 pounds).
It has riser handlebars, which makes for a comfortable riding position. It’s powered by a 575W geared hub motor, which allows you to go 20 miles per hour when you use the throttle and 26 miles per hour with your foot on the pedal. The installed throttle has a cadence sensor pedal assist, with five different levels of pedal assist.
It is powered by a 17.5Ah 840Wh Samsung 35E battery pack, which, when fully charged, can last between 25 and 40 miles, depending on the level of pedal-assist you’re using. It takes about four hours to bring the battery to full capacity. Finally, the hydraulic disc brakes offer reliable braking power.
