2023 Greater Chicago RV Show

It’s RV Show season! For those of us that live in the Midwest, we count the days until winter ends and we can take our camping gear out of hibernation. One of the bright spots of our long winter is the RV Show season. January 20th to 22nd was the 2023 Greater Chicago RV Show at the Schaumburg Convention Center. Here are some of the highlights from this first Illinois RV show of the season.

Campers for Every Camping Style

The Greater Chicago RV Show is a smaller show, featuring less than a dozen Chicagoland and NW Indiana RV dealers. That being said there was a lot to look at and even deals to be had. The camping units displayed ranged from teardrops, to family travel trailers, class B & C driveables, all the way up to large 5th wheels and class A rigs. There was also a wide array of manufacturers represented including Forest River, Jayco, NuCamp, Braxton Creek, Aliner, KZ, Sunset Park, Winnebago, and even Airstream. Here are some of my favorite units from the show…

Braxton Creek – Bushwhacker Plus 15FK – Vacationland

I found the Braxton Creek Bushwhacker Plus 15FK to be a perfect efficiency unit for solo campers or couples. It is 16 feet in length with a gross dry weight of 1900 lbs. Visit Vacationland in Big Rock for the latest inventory and pricing.

Forest River – Surveyor Legend 240BHLE – Pete’s RV Center

Forest River – Rockwood Geo Pro G19FDS – Pontiac RV
