GIRL CAMPER CHAPTER
Missouri
Girl Camper Guide - Missouri
Michelle Brownlee
I rediscovered my love of camping a few years ago after a long hiatus. I was a Campfire girl growing up in Washington state and loved camping with my family, especially my grandparents, in the mountains and at the beach. Being a part of Girl Camper fills my bucket in so many ways – making new friends, learning new things, visiting beautiful places, and disconnecting from my hectic, everyday life. Right now, I’m mostly tent and car camping but looking forward to completing a DIY-renovation of the 1959 Fireball Meteor I purchased last summer.Â
I’m thrilled to be your Missouri Guide and I’m eager to fully explore all the beautiful and interesting places our great state has to offer, especially the wide array of state parks. I love to hike, kayak, plan events and experiences, and feed people. I’m a voracious reader, history and trivia nerd, crafter, foodie, road tripper, and aspiring gardener and I like to incorporate these elements into my camping experiences. One of my favorite things is prepare Dutch oven meals and experiment with historic recipes.Â
When it comes to camping, start from wherever you are! Girl Camper is here to encourage and help you live your camping dream. Bring your questions, curiosity, experience, and enthusiasm to Girl Camper Missouri. I hope to see you around the campfire soon!Â
